Grinnellia americana 01-07-30-B

This is a small, delicate Grinnellia. The five main blades in this specimen emerge from a a dark point of attachment which, on close inspection, appears to be a fragment of a larger alga. The blades are speckled with reproductive structures and tend toward pale yellow at their tips.
